My name is Herb Higginbotham, and I am in my 7th year of teaching. I am an intervention teacher for a K-5 elementary building in Columbus, Ohio. I am the father of two beautiful daughters and I am married to my wonderful wife, Carrie.
I started this blog to share what I am learning about educational leadership as I pursue my Master’s Degree and my building principal’s license. There are many blogs written about the principalship by principals who are currently serving, but it’s hard to find a blog about the journey to the principalship. This blog is to serve as a record of my journey for other who may be interested in the principalship, and as a portfolio of my learning.
